All new Yamaha Acoustic Pianos (including equivalent Silent, TransAcoustic and Disklavier models) are set-up and tuned prior to delivery to your home. Yamaha Piano Care also provides in-home tuning after delivery, and for grand pianos C3X and above, an additional Service after 3 years (more information below). For Pianos purchased before February 2020 please contact your Piano Dealer.
Any purchase of a grand piano from the world-renowned CX and SX Series (including equivalent Silent, TransAcoustic and Disklavier models) includes a number of additional tunings as set out in the table below. This program is designed to reward Yamaha grand piano customers with a tuning program to ensure their pianos perform at their very best.

How to Redeem your Yamaha Piano Care offer.
When you purchase a new Yamaha acoustic piano from Piano City, you will be automatically registered for the Piano Care program. An email will be sent to your nominated email address with information on how to redeem. For existing customers, please login to our Customer Community to access your benefits.

The guiding principle in Yamaha’s crafting of pianos is the desire to provide players with instruments of the highest quality. If comprehensive after-sales service is not provided, even the best instrument will lose quality and become unable to perform at its full potential. All new Yamaha pianos sold in Australia come with between 1 and 6 free in-home tunes, to assist the new instrument to settle-in to its new surroundings.

3-year Service on selected models
All new Yamaha grand piano models C3X – C7X, SX and CF series (purchased after Feb 2020) will include a complementary 3-year Service. This service can only be performed by Technician and Warranty level Yamaha Authorised Service Agents. This service includes:
– Tune to 440Hz
– Voice hammers
– Lubricate front pins, balance pins and action centres
– Tighten all action screws
– Regulate hammer strike distance
– Regulate hammer set-off
– Regulate hammer drop
– Regulate repetition spring tensions
– Check una corda, sostenuto and sustain pedal regulation, tighten pedal lock nuts and lyre bolts.
