Piano iOS/Android Applications
Your digital piano/keyboard is more advanced than you think, did you know you can connect it to a mobile or a tablet, using interactive apps that are available to help you learn, change the sound, control, record, compose and write your own music! There are many free apps and some paid subscription apps.
How to connect your piano/keyboard?
Your digital piano/keyboard must first be compatible with MIDI. MIDI stands for Musical Instrument Digital Interface. It is a data protocol that allows a computer to read the exact detail of what you are playing it sees the notes, the velocity/sensivity, speed/tempo and even the voice/tone you selected to play with. It can also send data and audio back through the piano to help teach, play and interact with.
Your Piano/Keyboard with either have a USB Type B connection which is not a standard USB port so your charger cable will not work. If you have an older MIDI compatible piano with will have two 5 pin midi connection IN/OUT.
You will need to purchase one of these devices bellow to be able to connect your piano, there is cable connectivity or even wireless bluetooth connectivity, if you are unsure which connections are suitable for your piano please contact us via chat or phone for further info.
